What is AABAN?
We are a non-profit and exclusively private association whose objective is to dynamize the Andalusian seed investment ecosystem for startups.
Our members are individuals, legal entities, and funds coming from all over Europe. Participation in AABAN is by invitation only and is confidential if the member so wishes.
Mission
We promote economic development in Andalusia through entrepreneurship by:
- Facilitating investment opportunities for association members
- Creating the right environment to share ideas, experiences, contacts, and investments
In short, we aim to connect entrepreneurs who need financing and support with investors looking for opportunities. These investors, in addition to financial capacity, bring knowledge and contacts to actively contribute to the development of business projects.
Goals
- Build a seed capital investment ecosystem and raise awareness of the role of Business Angels in Andalusia, promoting the flow of investment into this sector and increasing the number of professionals involved.
- Bring together private investors, acting as an intermediary between them and the financing demand coming from business projects, while utilizing and stimulating collective intelligence.
- Promote investment in high-growth-potential business projects.
- Contribute to the exchange of best practices with other networks and agents operating in the field of business creation and company growth.
- Encourage the exchange of knowledge and business experiences among members, and between members and the innovative investment projects in which they participate.
- Bring together all Business Angels operating in Andalusia and collectively represent their needs before institutions.
- Channel the investment, knowledge, experience, and creative/innovative capacity that exists in Andalusia.
- Raise awareness of the figure of Business Angels and the key role they play in turning new innovative projects into reality.
